Who is racing at Redding April 15-16?

We are getting close to the season opener. Who is planning on racing this year with Pacific ProComp and attending the first race??

Hey Ron. Are lateral head restraints required? Also, do you enforce the 20# fire bottle rule? I won't run near the 6.60 index, but we are thinking of running my NE/1 car at the Redding race.

Greg, if your car is legal for the N/E 1, it's legal for our group.

It doesn't look like it Ron. It got the block and the head. It's apart, and i plan on getting the head to Valley Head to have Larry weld it up, but i have to get the block decked to clean it up. Time / Money isn't on my side this time. it'll take me a few weeks to unbreak this one.

Kenna did great yesterday though. Was neat to watch her run hard.

Yea, she ran 6.86 on a soft tune. Says she is ready for more. So Curtis is going to step it up some more for Redding. With her weight it should be right in the 6.60's . I think she is ready for what ever we can through at her.

Hey, been away for a while, back now. How did things go at Redding?
We are finnaly going to test Sat. Not sure what races Butch is planning on. Hopefully we have our problems solved and we can make the rest of the races. See you all soon.

The weather was a bit drizzely Friday but we got one Q Friday evening and then Saturday was good. Saturday we got two more Q's and finished the race by about 10:00 PM. Track got better and better as race went along.

All car counts were way down across the board. You guys missed a fun race.

Thats to bad. If our test goes OK we'll make some of the races. The economy has cought up with us. We are planning on Medford and some other races as long as we don't break anything.
How did it go with the new index?

The new index is cool. We ran a 6.49 first on a very soft tune. Then we detunned it some more and Curtis clicked it off at about 1200 ft and we ran a 6.61. Piece of cake .

We're back. Four passes in four hours, no tire shake, had to make one adjustment on the trans after the first pass from then on smooth. almost like we knew what we were doing. I think now one more test to get it to run the number and we're doing.

We still have to pull the bell housing and get it recertified. Things are coming together. Ran a 6.35 out of the box with the 6.30 tune in it, Butch peddled it once or it would have been a 6.00. Now to tune down. We'll test again and bring extra brake pads.
