Sacramento Nitro Night of Fire June 11-12

Who else is getting up for this race.....??? MAN!! I'm so ready to go racing I could spit spark plugs gaskets .
Sounds like we will have an excellent car count and should be for a full 8 car show.

So lets get them hot rods cleaned up, get the oil topped off, get them fuel jugs filled, ooyea! Don't forget some food and lets go racinnnnnng .

Hey, I've been away for a while. We did fire the car and except for some minor problems it should be ready, or close. I don't know if we'll make the next race or not. The car sounds good-scary good. We miss seeing all you guys.

Thanks Ron, my wife is recovering from brain surgery, she had a tumor. Everything has come out well. I'm not sure when we'll be ready to race but we are working on it, the car is almost ready. We'll go test soon, we have to test first so Butch dosen't embarras us to bad, or run over me backing up in high gear.

Steve, glad your wife is doing better...and you too. That kind of stuff is tuff on us to say the least.

Thanks Ron I couldn't make the race, can't get away from the house yet. Let me know how it went. We are pushing to make the Medford race and hopefully test soon.

Hey Steve, just back from Sacramento. Aaron in Jimmy Ray's car won the event and Curtis runner-up'd.

The over all race had a very low car count. We actually with our 6 cars for a 8 car show was one of the strongest showings..

Thanks Ron, who were the seven that showed up?? Congrats to Curtis and Aron. I wish I could have been there, but not quit ready yet, my son he had something to go do. I'll bet it was hot up there.
I'll be off to Utah Monday and Butch did ask me to stop at the fire works shop.

Steve, there were 6 cars total. Simon, Aaron, Curtis, Frank, Dennis Murphy, Laburn.
Was not really hot but very windy.

You'll know when your ready, don't push it.

Any way, Steve and I are somewhat jealous of all you guys out there makeing all kinds of noise and we haven't even tested yet. But holy mother of perpetual exceleration the ole girl sounds good. Hard to believe the difference in sound from the little and the big heads. We're peddleing as hard as the "Boss" will let us, and hope to see you all real soon.
Ron, how's that new pump working with the converter?

The new pump your refering too I already broke. Swisted the stator tube were it is splined and pressed into the pump housing. Striped all the splines out. Also the steel 10 clutch drum was cracked at all 4 oil holes.

Super pump going into it as we speak. Also taking the Top Fuel tires off the car. Those things just stick like glue and can't get them to slip enough. Had almost 100 lbs bolted to the front end and it would pick that up with no intent of setting it back down. Going back to the 34.5's which makes more sense.
