2009 TEW Champion

Congratulations to Simon and crew for winning the 2009 "Top Eliminator West" Championship. It was a hard fight to the finish and you will carry the torch into next season. Good job.

Thank you Ron, we appreciate all that you, Curtis, and Melanie do to keep TEW going. All of us from S&C Racing had a great time racing with everyone this year and if all goes well we will repeat those efforts next year. Hey Simon, great job, we tried hard just couldn't pull it off. You guys were outstanding this year. Maybe be we should have a cooking contest ha ha. I really thought you had us beat in the final, we knew our trans was gone, we even talked about just staging the car, surpisingly it made a full pass.
I'm already missing everybody, we have a great group to race with.

Hey Simon Camp....Good job takeing the crown for '09'. Don't get too comfortable with it. And don't take it in the shower....it'll shrink and then it won't fit Hammie's big head for 2010. You guys were right there all season long and it payed off. Looking forward to next season when we scrap the Pwrglide and bolt in the Bruno.

I can see already this is going to be a long winter. Hopefully it will give you two time to work out your differences .

I think we need to start checking what the cook is putting into your food for starters. Maybe Butch can come up with a dress code for crew members, like no skirts, high heels or panty hose during eliminations. Of course when your at the hotel your on your own!

You guys need to be working on that new transmission deal, that should take the edge off.

Hey Ron....not to worry, Steve is old and senile and probably only has about two good years left in him till he starts makeing odd noises and drooling on himself.
It'll be good to see ole "capt. Black" out there again. What are you gona do with all that boost. Now you're gona start playing slow down to get it out of the 20's.

Ron, didn't I see you eating in our pit, if there is something in the food you got some to. Now thanks to you I have a picture in my head of you and Ski in skirts, I think I'll lay out on the salt flats and try to burn that picture out of my head.
We are ready to get to work on the car as soon as Hammie ( Butch ) calls us. Hopefully it will be in the shop by the end of the month. If you think we were fun to watch wait til we shift 3 times

Hey!! I'm just wondering when or how to get you guys (or your cook) to the track earlier for breakfast. Pancakes with a big egg on top would work for me around 7 AM .

Forget the skirt, Curtis won't even let me wear my old red shorts that I used to wear anymore. I'm just a long pants guy now .
